July 2008
Pekka, Äli, and Eileen discussed the outcome of the stakeholder interviews in the Netherlands. The stakeholder interviews have been designed to gather a final feedback on the TTplus framework. The feedback was slightly contradictory. The reasons for this contradiction have been discussed. Pekkas work on a policy landscape on trainer education across the TTplus countries has additionally helped to spread some light in the different perception of the TTplus framework.

Pekka, Nikitas, Äli and Eileen had an interesting discussion with a variety of topics: Nikitas reported from the focus groups and dissemination activities in Greece, Pekka explained how he will use the TTplus framework to join the German debate on professionalisation of trainers. He also sketched three different training landscapes in Europe. You can join the flashmeeting again and listen to the replay by following the link:

May 2008
Graham, Pekka, and Eileen took part at the TTplus flashmeeting in May. It was a quick flashmeeting with the major aim of giving a short feedback on the newly established wiki. The TTplus wiki will be used to gather examples from the case studies to illustrate the commmitments of the flashmeeting. Additionally the mapping of the policy landscape will be done. Graham also reported that the TTplus framework will be used as one of the major inputs for the EUROTRAINER II project - a network that connects experts on trainers.

February 2008
Graham, Eileen, Nikitas, Äli, Pekka, and Eduardo and Vania took part in the flashmeeting. Graham has presented the draft of the framework at the INAP (International Network on Apprenticeship) in Vienna. He received excellent response to the work already done by TTplus.
The TTplus team members agreed that the TTplus framework is a learning framework in contrast to qualification or competence framework. It focus on the learning process instead of individual qualifications.
At the moment the framework consists of two documents: “the accreditation framework” and “the principle document”. Both documents still need some revision.

Magda, Liliana, Lianne and Eileen discussed intensively the development of the scenarios. The instances of change will be a key aspect for the development. It was agreed that the TTplus project will take the time during the meeting in Vienna to further develop the scenarios.

September 2007
No flashmeeting was held in September because of a short project meeting at the Ecer conference (see Project Minute).
August 2007, second meeting
Magda, Lianne, Graham, and Eileen discussed the relation between pattern languages, instances of change, and scenarios of practice. The instances of change are the empirical foundation for the creation of the scenarios of practice. The scenarios of practice are based on similar ideas as the pattern language approach: an inductive approach to identify common patterns / generics through empirical observation.

August 2007
Magda, Liliana, Graham and Eileen discussed intensively the equal opportunity workpackage (WP4) and the guideline Magda has sent around. We came to the conclusion that we will concentrate on the policy /structural level of equal opportunity for trainers. Thus we conclude that each partner has to identify at least 2 stakeholders which are in a position to make critical decisions about equal opportunity aspects. We agreed that the 6 main questions raised by Magda in her mainstreaming:equal:opportunities- document are the most relevant and should be kept.
- How accessible is the training to different categories and profiles of trainers?
- How relevant is the training content for all the trainers?
- How appropriate are the delivery methods in respecting the individual differences of trainers?
- Are the equal opportunities for all enforced for acquiring the best skills, interests in training?
- Are the evaluation procedures free of any types of bias?
- Are the personal expectations of trainers fulfilled in terms of training outcomes?

June 2007
We mainly discussed a question Magda raised with regard to the equal opportunity workpackage. She asked whether we want to focus on gender and ethnicity or make this approach more broader. The work programme mentioned a focus on gender and ethnicity, but after a discussion we decided to broaden the issue. In Romania as well as in the UK case studies, access to professional development is also an issue due to a dividing line between urban / rural population. Therefore we are going to broaden our question and will use Magdas focus about differences in access to products/courses and processes. There will be some more specific questions regarding gender and ethnicity included in the questionnaire, but with a wider approach we hope that the workpackage will support the development of the framework better.
